Dental Implants in Provo, UT

Single tooth, bridge, or full arch. Dr. Smith handles the surgical and restorative side in the same practice, no hand-off between offices.

Implant-Supported Bridges

Full-Arch (All-on-X) and Implant-Retained Dentures

A full upper or lower arch replaced on 4 to 6 implants, or 2 to 4 implants to stabilize the denture you already wear. No more slipping.

Bone Grafting When Needed

If the ridge is too thin for an implant, we grow the bone first. It adds a step, but it protects the long-term result.

What to Expect

Plan: 3D cone-beam imaging shows the bone and we build a surgical guide. Place: the post is placed under local anesthetic, or IV sedation if you prefer. Restore: the crown, bridge, or arch is attached by the same doctor who placed it. Implant consults include 3D imaging and a written plan.

FAQ

Implants, plainly answered.

The most common questions we get before the consult.

  • Am I a candidate?
Most healthy adults are. We check bone density, gum health, and medical history at the consult. If bone is thin, we can build it up first.
  • How long does the whole process take?
3 to 6 months from placement to final crown for most cases. Full-arch can be same-day if bone allows.
  • Does it hurt?
The procedure itself is done under local anesthetic, you feel pressure, not pain. Most patients take ibuprofen for a day or two after.
  • How much does an implant cost?
Single implants typically run $3,500, $5,500 all-in (post + abutment + crown). Full-arch varies widely. We give you the exact number in writing at the consult.
  • Does insurance cover implants?
Some medical and dental plans cover part of the restoration. We verify before you commit and file the claim.
  • Do you do sedation?
Yes, nitrous, oral, and IV options depending on your comfort level and the procedure.
