Filler or Botox. Which is right for me?
Depends on what you want. Filler adds definition where bone structure is lacking. Botox softens masseter hypertrophy from clenching. Sometimes both. The aesthetic consult sorts it out. -
Will Botox change my chewing?
Done at aesthetic dosing, no. Done at therapeutic dosing for severe bruxism, there's some adaptation in the first 2 weeks but normal function is preserved. -
How long does it last?
Jawline filler lasts 12 to 24 months. Masseter Botox lasts 4 to 6 months at aesthetic dosing, sometimes longer with sustained treatment. -
What does it cost?
Jawline filler runs $800, $1,800 (1 to 2 syringes). Masseter Botox runs $400, $700. Pricing stated in writing upfront. -
Will it affect my bite?
Not when placed properly. The aesthetic + bite eval upfront prevents this. We plan around the bite, not despite it.
