Dr. Dave Bennett
I was born and raised in Utah primarily in the Benjamin and Salem areas. Growing up in South Utah County and the cultural influences helped shape me into what I am today.
I served a mission in Central America where I learned to speak Spanish and where I learned to love people. I decided then and there on a profession where I would be able to care for others and give back to my community.
Upon returning home, I attended BYU and studied the sciences. I loved learning the explanations that biology and chemistry gave to questions about nature and the human body. I loved it so much I decided to major in Chemistry. I finished BYU in 2002 and went to University of Buffalo in New York for Dental School. I concluded dental school in 2006 and have been practicing at Advanced Dental Care ever since.
My wife, Alison, and I have six kids. They mean the world to us. My favorite things are hiking, going to the beach and especially golfing with them.
Dentistry has been great for my personality. I love giving back to my community that has given me so much. I continually try to stay on top of the latest technologies that will benefit people and it is fun to learn the latest advances that dentistry has to offer for humanity.
Dr. Dave Smith
Dr. David Smith graduated from Brigham Young University and then attended the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry.
While taking shelter from tornados, he joined the United States Army, graduated, and moved to Tennessee where he pursued an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at Fort Campbell, KY.
With the fighting force of America behind him, he was able to refine his skills in wisdom teeth removal, complicated crown and bridge cases, implant placement and restoration, and various surgical procedures. Dr. Smith was able to acquire unique skill sets and experience with CAD/CAM dentistry, and has an enthusiasm for advancing technologies.
After completing a two year assignment at Ft. Riley, Kansas, Dr. Smith and his family then spent three years in Oahu, Hawaii, working at Schofield Barracks and soaking up the salty air, turquoise crystal blue waters, and the cool tradewinds of the islands. What a soft place to land and end his career serving the US Army. Dr Smith still continues to serve in the Army Reserve Unit in Salt Lake City.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Smith cherishes his time with his wife, Nina, his two boys, Breckin and Shepard, and his daughter, Juna. He is passionate about sports, outdoor adventures, and mostly improving his relationships with his precious family. He also enjoys serving in his church and community.
Dr. Smith is thankful to be back home where mountains and kin reside. He loves serving the great people of Utah.
